 Ashwini Ahuja Brief Biography
Ashwini Ahuja is a famous writer, columnist and novelist of India. Presently, he contributes to almost a dozen magazines and publications across country and abroad. So far, he has penned down five books both in English and Hindi. He was born in Fazilka, a tiny city, close by Indo-Pak border.
After completed his M. Phil at Punjab University, Chandigarh, he joined as a part time lecturer at DAV College, Malout. Later, he joined DAV College Abohar and Gopi Chand Arya Mahila College, Abohar. He has the keen interest for writing not only for in the area of fiction but the other various subjects also which took him to Delhi where he joined Dainak Jagran at Noida office as a sub editor.
Being a single son of the family, his responsibilities towards family brought him back to his native city just after a year to look after his ailing mother. He then joined in M. R College, Fazilka as a part time Hindi lecturer. Part time job in college was not prolific. He discarded it after two years and began to struggle for permanent teaching job in the nearby area. In the year of 1995, he got a permanent job as a school lecturer and was posted at nearby city Abohar.
Meanwhile, he continued writing on various subjects viz. youth, career, fashion, politics, fiction, lifestyle, current affairs, religion, trend, society etc. Now, he is working as lecturer in his city Fazilka. He started his career as a Hindi writer but after three books get published, he switched over to English writing as he foresaw both fame and fortune along with vast readership in English writing. Now, he writes preferably in English despite, he teaches Hindi to his students.
Academic Qualification:
MA (English, Hindi) M. Ed, M. Phil. He is the alumni of S. D. Senior Secondary School, Fazilka, DAV College, Abohar & Punjab University campus, Chandigarh. At Abohar, he topped in MA Hindi examination. He earned his post graduation in English from Bikaner University, Bikaner. Also, he earned the degrees of honour both in Hindi and Punjabi from Punjabi University, Patiala. At Tagore Theatre, Chandigarh, he acted in Shakespeare’s play Macbeth and earned accolade in press as an artist apart from an author.

Apart from writing, he earned several awards at college and university level for his participation in different activities viz. debate, declamation & poetical recitation etc. He donated his rare blood group O-negative to dozens needy persons and local societies Manav Kalyan Sabha & Social Welfare society conferred him awards for his humanitarian cause.
